Today's menu is a chicken and vegetable chowder with mochi (rice cake) recipe.
We Japanese eat this dish at a New Year.
It is Jan 3rd, so it is kind a late. However, I want to introduce traditional dish for New Year.


How to make


1, Toast rice cakes. Cut all vegetables and chicken 1 inch.
2, Stir frying all cut vegetables and chicken with sesame oil
3, Add ☆seasoning and tofu. Boil till veggies are soft
4, Add ★soy sauce and miso, then adjust the flavor
5, Add rice cakes.
6, Enjoy Meal!

Chicken…a handful
Mochi (Rice cake)… 2 for each person
Carrot...1
Daikon radish...1/3
Tofu… 1/2
sesame oil...proper amount

Sliced naganegi onion...Proper amount

[seasoning]
☆dashi(Tsuyu)...1cup
☆sake...2spoon
☆water...3,4cup
★soy sauce...2 big spoonful
miso...2 big spoonful
Japanese dashi, miso, Konjac, Daikon radish, is available at Asian grocery store

ちょっと遅くなりましたがお雑煮です。家は北関東なので、ベースはしょうゆと味噌でけんちん汁と似ています。飽きたら、うどんを入れてもいいし、たくさん作りだめして食べたいですね。

作り方
1、もちはあらかじめ焼いておく。
2、野菜、鶏肉を適量な大きさに切る。
3、ごま油で野菜、鶏肉を炒める
4、火が通ったら、豆腐と☆を入れて中火で煮る。ここでモチも入れる
5、最後にしょうゆと味噌で味を調えて完成!

もち・・・適量 だいたい一人2個でしょうか?
鶏肉…手のひら分くらい
人参...1本
大根...1/3
豆腐…1/2
長ネギ…1本
[調味料]
☆だし...1カップ
☆酒...2スプーン
☆水・・・3,4カップ
★しょうゆ...大さじ2
★みそ...大さじ2
